Device Intelligence and Connectivity
According to IHS Markit , there will be around 75 billion IoT devices worldwide by 2025, and in most industrial sectors they will be connected to the Internet. The annual Cisco Visual Networking Index (VNI) reports that data traffic will triple by 2022. But how can these devices be made to communicate with each other, and how must the interfaces between humans and devices be designed?
One thing is certain: the demand for device intelligence and networking is growing. However, there is no standard for IoT networking to date. At this point, Acceed supports the development of efficient systems from high-quality and selected embedded components and interactive software communication with its project-specific software service.
Embedded systems can use their sensors to measure light and detect movement, and on this basis control room temperatures and artificial lighting in an energy-efficient manner. Electricity, gas and water consumption in production plants can be adapted to save energy if the components of the embedded network communicate intelligently with each other. Well-matched embedded systems reduce downtimes (predictive maintenance) and secure production processes.
Protocols and Programming
Together with the customer, Acceed's experts determine the possible project-specific and individual technical communication paths and protocols (Ethernet LAN, WLAN, fiber optics, narrowband IoT, LTE CAT M1 and CAT 1, ZigBee, LoRa, Modbus, MQTT, CoAP and many more). Tailor-made software and task-specific programming ensure optimum interaction between the various system components and provide the interfaces for human-machine communication (operating elements, displays, protocols, evaluations).
Acceed knows the hardware of its carefully selected manufacturers exactly, the strengths and possibilities of the various components as well as alternatives and can provide valuable support already in the project planning phase when it comes to the implementation of IoT systems and embedded solutions. Acceed wants its devices to be up and running as quickly as possible. On the part of the customer, effort and time should be reduced to a minimum. Individual solutions with the appropriate service are the goal - successful projects the result.
Hardware Ready to Run
Ready-made and Ready for Use
Most network components (box PCs, embedded controllers, switches, access points, gateways, media servers) are available in different versions and with a multitude of equipment variants. Acceed puts together the optimal equipment for each project and application. At the customer's request, devices can be configured and assembled - even in large quantities - so that they are immediately ready for use at the customer's site.
Together with the customer, Acceed finds the right device for the intended application. All important criteria such as temperature range, CPU and GPU performance, dimensions, power supply, mechanical protection, reliability, interfaces, data transmission bandwidth, software support, operating systems and much more are examined and evaluated.
Embedded Computers - Compact, Ultra-compact, Fanless
The wide range of devices from different manufacturers is supported by individual configuration with CPU, RAM, SSD, HDD, graphics cards and a variety of specific PCIe and Mini PCIe boards.
High-performance Industrial Computers
Rugged, high-performance, fail-safe industrial computers for use in harsh environments offer the optimum solution with the greatest possible flexibility for later adaptations and expansions through the individual use of task-optimised plug-in cards. The experts of Acceed are available on request with information and technical support during the planning phase. For larger quantities, even manufacturer adjustments are possible thanks to the good relationships.
PXI Systems for Research and Industry
Powerful PXI systems are the basis for reliable automation applications, demanding testing stations and tasks in research and development. Acceed supplies not only the basic systems, but also the equipment with further task- or project-related components.
